Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the PareOps website and its cost analysis, AI explanation, AI assistant and report features (the "Service"), provided by PareOps ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept them for it.

1. The Service

The Service gives a free, top-line analysis of cloud spend from data you provide, AI explanations of the results, an AI assistant and a downloadable report. Paid audits, consulting (CDS) and platform work (Dormaterix) are provided under separate written agreements, which take precedence over these terms for those services.

2. Estimates and AI output

  • Savings figures are estimates based on common spending patterns in your data. They are not a guarantee of savings, and they are not a per-resource audit.
  • AI explanations and assistant replies are generated automatically and can be incomplete or wrong. Check them before acting, especially before purchasing commitments or changing production systems.
  • Nothing in the Service is financial, legal or tax advice. You are responsible for decisions you make based on it.

3. Your data and responsibilities

  • Only upload data, or connect accounts, that you are authorised to share.
  • Don't upload passwords, access keys, other secrets or personal information. If you share a credential by mistake, rotate it immediately.
  • If you connect an AWS account, you control the read-only role and can revoke access at any time by deleting it.
  • You keep all rights to your data. You allow us to process it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Analyses are deleted automatically after 30 days.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the Service;
  • attempt to access data or systems you are not authorised to access;
  • overload, disrupt, scrape or work around usage limits of the Service;
  • try to make the AI assistant produce harmful content or reveal its internal instructions, or use it for purposes unrelated to the Service;
  • reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it.

We may suspend access that breaks these rules or puts the Service or other users at risk.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and content, belongs to PareOps. Reports generated for you may be used and shared within your organisation and with your advisers.

6. Availability and changes

The free Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and we don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top; continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
